Every child has a right to an education, and every young person has a right to a fair chance – a chance to learn, to equip her or himself with the skills and training needed for the modern world. But it’s not always easy for everyone to enjoy these rights, or to access them. Click Here to read more about how the funds will be used.
On Sunday 26th July, Claudio Camilleri and Patrick Tabone completed 190km in 35hrs. The run started and ended at the Independence Gardens in Sliema. The two athletes hugged the coast throughout Malta and Gozo with the aim of funding access to education for refugee or migrant children and youths in Malta. Although the financial goal for the run was €15,000, the exceptional response from the public and organisations has led the sum raised to exceed €40,000, and a new final objective of €50,000 has been set.
